Advanced Scuba Diver
We have designed our Advanced Scuba Diver course and enriched it by adding the Nitrox Diver and Deep Diver specialty programs. We feel that the traditional "single weekend of dives" does not provide enough time to truly enhance a diver's training to an "advanced" level. We begin our course with a simple screening dive to make sure each student has a good grasp of the basic skills. We then follow up with as many dives as it takes for both the instructor and student to feel they have accomplished the goals of this program. Though only 8 dives are required, we will normally do 12 to 14 dives in order to allow for more exposure to new diving situations and to further increase the student's comfort and experience level. Emphasis will be on buoyancy, trim, equipment configuration and dive planning. With custom scheduling, this course is truly tailored to each students needs.
Cost: $440 includes all instructor time and textbooks
Extra Costs: scuba equipment, boat fees, park admission fees, tank fills
Prerequisites:
- minimum age of 18 year to be eligible for the complete program (age 15-17 years will not receive the Deep Diver certification. Under age 15, please contact the store for information.)
- must be certified as NAUI Scuba Diver or equivalent (open water certification from any recognized agency)
Advanced Scuba Diver programs are scheduled on a per group basis. We will try to make a custom schedule for groups of 3 or more.
