Equipment Knowledge Specialty
At home, at the dive site or on the boat, a little knowledge of your equipment can go a long way. Whether it is cleaning a mask or wetsuit, or troubleshooting a regulator or replacing a hose, eventually some work will need to be done.
Over the 4 evenings of this course you will learn how various types of scuba equipment function, different configurations for different types of diving, general routine maintenance that you can do yourself as well as a look at what is done when your gear is "overhauled" at the shop. If possible, we will also try to make opportunities to try out some different types of equipment making this a perfect course for those divers who may still be trying to decide what gear to buy or upgrade.

Extra Costs: Book "Scuba Equipment Care & Maintenance" is optional. It is becoming a little dated but still contains a bunch of good information. We carry a couple in stock and they sell for $19.95.
