Rental Policies

Diver Certification - All persons wishing to rent equipment from us will need to show a scuba diving certification card (c-card) from a recognized agency before they pick up the equipment. Students who do not have their c-card yet should have their instructor contact us. This applies to scuba regulators and cylinders.

Length of Rental - Rentals are billed on the following basis: Weekend - any rental being picked up/used any time during Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be billed a flat rate for the weekend as shown on the Rental Prices page. Single Weekday - any rental being picked up on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and being returned by Friday morning, will be billed Single Weekday rental rates per 24 hour period. Week - a flat rate for a 7 day period will be charged for weekly rentals. Additional days will each be charged at the Single Weekday daily rates.

Liability Waiver - All renters will be required to sign a LIABILITY RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK EQUIPMENT RENTAL AGREEMENT an example of which can be seen here.

Equipment Return - All equipment must be returned clean and free of dirt, sand, grass etc. and washed/rinsed with clean water. We realize that it will not always be possible to have equipment completely dry before returning it to us. This is fine as long as it is clean. We also require the dust cap to be in place on the regulator first stage, and that cylinders be returned with a positive pressure (not empty). Extra fees will be charged for equipment not returned in this manner. Equipment that is lost and not returned, or is damaged, will incur additional charges for repair or replacement at retail costs.
