Service
Don't trust your life to just anyone. Annual maintenance and proper care of your equipment is what gives you the confidence to depend on your gear. You need to trust that it's going to function properly and you need to trust who's servicing it.
Burton's Dive Service has the experience, background and knowledge to keep your equipment in top shape. If we can't fix it, we will tell you so. We are also very up front about the fact that if we don't sell the product, we cannot complete warranty work. We will however try to help you find someone who can service your equipment, if we cannot.
NEW : "Burton's Dive Service will no longer service or fill 6351 aluminum cylinders as of June 30th 2012."
While we do use the Visual Plus 3 device when we do inspections on all aluminum cylinders, many other shops do not. Many shops will not fill or service 6351 alloy cylinders at all, and some will only fill them if they have done the inspections. The number of shops no longer handling these cylinders is growing and includes at least 1 in Brockville area and 1 in Ottawa. For the last couple of years, we have been recommending that people with these cylinders consider upgrading to newer cylinders.
We have reviewed our policy on the older 6351 aluminum alloy scuba cylinders and have decided for safety reasons that as of June 30th 2012 we will no longer be filling or servicing these cylinders. We will be offering a trade-in program however to owners of these cylinders.
