Service Prices

At Burton's, our after sales service is as important as the sale itself. Any equipment purchased at Burton's comes with our service commitment.

Equipment Labour Fees:(Approximate cost. Taxes extra. Parts extra. Only a partial list.)

Hydrostatic Test - $25 (does not include VIP or fill, allow 2 to 4 weeks**)
VIP - $25 includes air fill ($30 for Nitrox/O2 VIP)
Doubles Surcharge - $10 for the disassembly and reassembly of double cylinders
Cylinder tumbling/oxygen cleaning - $50 (including VIP)
Cylinder Whipping - $7.50 to remove light deposits that don't require tumbling
Tank valve overhaul - $10 labour plus parts (single valve, base rate), add $5 for oxygen cleaning
Regulator Overhaul - $85 plus parts for 1st stage, 2nd stage, octo and gauges. (ultrasonic cleaning extra if required)
Regulator Inspection - $25 (check IP, breathing effort, general cleanliness and leak test. Regulator will not be disassembled)
BC Inflator Servicing - $30 labour plus parts (includes BC Inspection)
BC Inspection - $15 (check for leaks, cleaning of dump valves)
Air Fill - $8 with tax average per tank (add $1 for HP/HV cylinders)
Air Fill Card - $180 with tax - ·bulk purchase of 30 fills (savings of 25%) (add $22.50 for HP/HV cylinders)
Nitrox Fill - $16 with tax average per tank up to EAN40 (add $2 for HP/HV cylinders)
Nitrox Fill Card - $360 with tax - ·bulk purchase of 30 fills (savings of 25%) (add $45 for HP/HV cylinders)
*HP/HV - high pressure (over 3300psi) high volume (over 100 cubic feet) cylinders
Custom mixes are also available.
RUSH Service Fee - from $10 to $30 for 2 business day turnaround (providing parts are available)
DOT-3AL and CTC/TC 3ALM cylinders will not be filled beyond 207 bar/3000 psi with an oxygen content greater than 23.5% as per TC and DOT regulations.

** We run tanks the hydro test facility only once per week. Turnaround time at the hydro facility can be anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks, sometimes longer.
